Creator Rules & Community Guidelines

Hannabon is a place to make, explore, and play games. These guidelines explain what we expect from players and creators when using Hannabon accounts, profiles, messages, games, and community features. They apply alongside our Terms of Service. If a feature is not available yet, these rules apply when it becomes available.
Hannabon Studio currently supports local project creation and play; publishing projects from Studio to Hannabon.com is not connected yet. If and when you share or publish content through Hannabon, these creator rules apply to it.
1. Make and share work you have the right to use
Only submit or share projects, scripts, images, music, names, and other materials that you created or are authorized to use. Respect copyright, trademarks, privacy, and other people's rights. Do not copy another creator's project, remove ownership notices, impersonate an author, or use assets from another platform without permission. When bringing in a project from another service, make sure you have the creator's authorization and follow that service's rules.
2. Keep content appropriate for the community
Hannabon accounts are for people age 13 and older. Do not post, build, or share content that exploits, sexualizes, endangers, or solicits minors. Sexual content involving minors is never allowed. Do not publish pornography or other sexually explicit material, or content that promotes real-world violence, self-harm, animal abuse, or dangerous acts.
Do not use games, profiles, messages, or creator materials to target people with hate, threats, bullying, stalking, or discrimination. Do not publish another person's private information, intimate images, or identifying details without permission. Do not use content to glorify terrorism or encourage violence against a person or group.
3. Build safe and honest experiences
- Do not include malware, spyware, credential theft, phishing, or code designed to damage devices or accounts.
- Do not secretly collect personal information, trick players into sharing it, or direct them to unsafe websites.
- Describe your game and its features honestly. Do not impersonate another creator or mislead players about who made a game, what it contains, or what it costs.
- Do not use exploits, unauthorized automation, fake accounts, or coordinated activity to manipulate visits, player counts, rewards, or other platform features.
- Do not disrupt games, evade safety tools, spam other users, or encourage players to break the rules.
4. Treat other players and creators with respect
Keep profiles, descriptions, and messages respectful. Do not harass or intimidate people, repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop, post spam or scams, or use alternate accounts to continue behavior that has been restricted. Do not share private conversations or personal details to shame, threaten, or pressure someone.
5. Be clear about commerce
If creator sales or paid features are enabled for your account, explain prices and what buyers will receive before they purchase. Do not make deceptive offers, manipulate purchases, or use off-platform transactions to evade Hannabon's rules. Creators who sell for real money must also follow the merchant requirements in our Terms of Service, including any required storefront, refund, and contact disclosures. Local creator projects are not currently published to Hannabon.com through Studio.
6. Reporting and enforcement
If you see a safety issue or content that may violate these guidelines, email support@hannabon.com with a link or description and enough detail for us to review it. For copyright complaints, contact legal@hannabon.com.
We may review reports, remove or restrict content, limit feature access, or suspend accounts when we believe these guidelines or the Terms have been violated. The response depends on the circumstances, including the seriousness and pattern of the behavior and any risk to users. When appropriate, we will provide the affected account with the reason for an action. If you believe we made a mistake, contact support@hannabon.com and explain why you are asking us to review it.
7. Updates
We may update these guidelines as Hannabon and its community features develop. We will post the current version here and update the date above. Continued use of the Services after an update means these rules apply to your use going forward.
